Nails that feel like you
I'm Amelia Howgate, the nail tech behind The Nail Edit. I work from a private home studio in Caterham, Surrey - just me, one client at a time, so appointments never feel rushed.
Some people come in with a saved folder full of inspiration; others sit down and say “you choose.” Both are very welcome. I'll always talk through shape, length and finish first so your set suits your hands and your day-to-day - whether that's a quiet milky French or something with gems and chrome.
My clients range from teenagers to grandmothers, and honestly that's my favourite thing about the job. Come as you are, bring a coffee, and expect a proper catch-up.

Every set is tailored to your nails on the day. Not sure what you need? Send a message and we'll work it out together.
Gel-X
Soft gel extensions applied full-cover for instant length. Lightweight, natural-looking, and kind to the nail underneath.
Acrylic
Hard-wearing extensions for maximum strength and any shape you fancy - almond, ballerina, square or a full statement length.
Gel Polish & Manicure
Tidy cuticles, a shaped free edge and a long-lasting glossy gel colour. Simple, classic, and always a good idea.
Nail Art
French tips, florals, fine-line detail, negative space, chrome, animal print or rhinestones - added to any set above.
Infills & Removal
Rebalancing for existing sets, plus careful soak-off removal. Book alongside your new set so there's enough time.
